Ready, Willing & Usually Quite Able

Established in 1946, the mission of the Winona Men’s Club is to help youth, seniors, and those who are in need in Winona and surrounding communities. Join us so we can achieve our mission.

The Winona Men’s Club (which is open to all genders, despite our name which dates back to 1946) was founded following World War II to offer support and assistance to the families of those lost in the War. Since then, the Club works as a team to deliver real and lasting impact in the Stoney Creek/Winona Community — including playing a major role in the Winona Peach Festival.

We help our youth

We help our youth by supporting 1 st Winona Scouts, Orchard Park School Team 2056 Robotics, and the Lincoln Leapers Jump Rope Club. We also sponsor the Winona Easter Egg Hunt and Winona Halloween Bash. Moreover, every Spring, we award bursaries to students at a number of Stoney Creek and Grimsby public and Catholic schools.

We help our seniors

We help our seniors by supporting SOS (Senior Outreach Services), Grimsby Life Centre, McNally House Hospice and more.

We help our community

We help our community by generously supporting both the Stoney Creek Community Food Bank and Grimsby’s food bank located at GBF Community Services. Of course, as a founding member of the Winona Peach Festival, we actively participate in this annual event where we run the Peach Sundae, Ice Cream, and Corn tents.

TODAY, OUR CLUB IS WELCOMING NEW MEMBERS... AND NOT JUST MEN!

And as much as our Club name has the word “Men’s” in it, we have adopted a policy that encourages women and non-binary individuals to join and to become active members. Before you join, you’re welcome to help in any number of ways. Including volunteering at the Peach Festival, we have roles that require only a few hours once in a while or a few hours each month. Every contribution helps us fulfill our mission!

Meeting for dinner monthly, we present entertaining speakers and participate in lively conversation. Way better than networking, it’s making friends of our neighbours.

Every August, we roll up our sleeves and roll out the welcome mat, inviting people from far and wide to experience the best of what Winona has to offer. The Peach Festival is more than just food, it includes fellowship that leads to life-long friendships.

Whether you’re new here or just want to meet some of your neighbours, be sure to join the best Club in this or any other town!
